An simple poll of the Styleite office says the Dove has really cornered the deodorant market in recent years. That said, there’s at least one impede out. Model (and Canadian!) Jessica Stam says she doesn’t hold with any of that fancy, frilly humbug; she prefers are more, well, herbal scent.
She told Into The Gloss , “I’ve been using men’s deodorant for years—original Old Sharpness. I just think it’s the best smell.”
For what it’s worth, she’s also got a pretty low-key makeup routine:
I’ll use the Rose Otto balm on my eyelids if I’m not wearing makeup, hardly for a little sheen, and if I’m not wearing mascara, I’ll put a little on my eyelashes. And you can do this with Acquaphor, or Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, and it just makes you look deep down fresh and bright. Day to day, I’ll wear a tinted moisturizer—I like Laura Mercier—and I apply it with a “Attractiveness Blender” which is this pink sponge that a lot of makeup artists use. I mist the Beauty Blender with Evian douse first—I think it just helps to lock in the moisture. And I like to tint my eyelashes black, that’s big. I just go to a advance around the block from my apartment. I don’t really wear mascara unless I’m going out at night and want to put on an eye. I’ve learned how to do a smoky eye using condign eyeliner—just a basic black crayon from CoverGirl, that I’ve used so much it’s only about an inch long now! My brows are spotty at the ends so I use powder, Anastasia, in Medium Ash, and I just blend it in with the brush that comes with it.
Deirdre is looking for info on Elizabeth Arden pithy sort-up, if it’s dependable, and if there is anything distinct she should identify about it. I’m not too safe whether she wants info on compacts, or on their Unsullied Administer Sponge on Cream Makeup , so I’m assuming it’s the latter!
