As I've got a restriction complexion and more than my fair share of moles, I've always been very careful when it comes to protecting my skin from the sun. I'm not alone either, because we have one of the highest instances of skin cancer in Europe , with a phenomenal 5,000 new cases being reported annually. It seems impossible in a country that's not exactly blessed with sunny days and that may be part of the problem -- unintentional exposure makes up 70pc of our all-out sun exposure.
